CHARITY ITEM: 25% of profits from this pin support: Oceans North Oceans North is a science- & community-based organization that supports marine conservation in partnership with Indigenous and coastal communities in the Arctic & Atlantic regions of Canada, as well as western Greenland.

The narwhal is a species of toothed whale, closely related to the beluga. Narwhals live in the Arctic, & are famous for their long, spiraled tusks - which are actually really long canine teeth! Almost all males have a tusk, as well as ~15% of females. These tusks are super sensitive, and help narwhals process stimuli via millions of nerve endings!

PLEASE NOTE: This pin is sharp! Please store it and wear it with caution.
